Jump to navigation Jump to search
This is an image of a page or pages from a newspaper that is in the public domain in its country of origin and in the United States. It is not known to contain any legible non-free content. However, the date of death of some of the individual authors is unknown, so some of the text or pictures may be non-free. Do not crop this image to extract selected content without first confirming that this content is in the public domain.

The Newspaper template creates a warning message on page images from newspapers that may include non-free content.

The template automatically sets the following categories: Collective works or Collective works of [Country]

Usage

{{Newspaper |country= }}

The template should be included if any of the contributions in the page image, including text and images, may be non-free. This includes text or images where the author is not identified. If you are sure that all the content is free, e.g. because all the authors are known to have died more than 120 years ago, use the {{PD-newspaper-assumed}} template instead.
