I removed the following two images from this page:

I took the pictures but I am no longer sure that species ID is right. I am not sure that the spider I had previously identified as a male is a male. If somebody was sure it might be nice to put them back. They do look about right, but I'm too much of an amateur to make this ID. We have a lot more brown widows in this area and it is conceivable to me that this is what they are. As far as that goes, I suspect that the image that shows the front of the spider with the swoosh might be a brown widow also. The brown widows have an enormous color variation that includes black and this swoosh and the brown and black legs suggests to me at least the possibility that it's a brown widow. --Davefoc (talk) 18:46, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
