Moving this gallery to Chartres Cathedral[edit]

On 20 May 2008, the associated category was renamed from Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres to Chartres Cathedral. I had no doing in this and there was also apparently no discussion regarding this move. But I do not object either. But I think it would be helpful to move likewise the associated gallery page to Chartres Cathedral such that the category and its directly associated gallery share the same name. Any objections? --AFBorchert (talk) 16:23, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. You might want to take a look at this discussion. --AFBorchert (talk) 16:27, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A name in pure English, without special chars, is preferable. MathKnight 17:52, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I oppose. The cat has to be renamed, not the article, to respect naming rules (see Category:Cathedrals in France). Bibi Saint-Pol (sprechen) 19:29, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your comment, Bibi Saint-Pol, I would have no problem with moving the category back to Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres. The only problem is now that we have a couple of subcategories whose names should match that of the main category. I just prefer to have a pair where the name of the category and the gallery are equal to each other. Shall we have move the discussion regarding the category to COM:CFD? This would allow the experts of our category system to join the discussion. --AFBorchert (talk) 21:29, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I have meanwhile opened a discussion at COM:CFD. --AFBorchert (talk) 21:55, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
