What's the purpose of this page?[edit]

Articles should be written in Wikipedia, not Wikimedia. If the idea was to show a gallery of things relating to "camera", this isn't the way to do it. Instead, images should be tagged with category links, thus: 

[[Category:Cameras]]

Then, if one browses to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Cameras, the system will automatically create a gallery of images. For further details on how this is supposed to work, see Commons:Categories. --Hydrargyrum 03:39, 1 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
