English: Routemaster bus RML2468 (reg. JJD 468D) was delivered to London Transport in May 1966. As with all RML buses, in the early 1990s it was re-engined (Cummins) and refurbished. It saw continual use in London into the privatisation era, passing in 1994 into the fleet of Cowie Leaside (which later became Arriva London North). It saw use until finally being withdrawn in October 2005, having latterly operated on route 38 out of Clapton Garage (code CT). A month later it was sold to dealer Ensignbus. In January 2006 it was bought by Wych Cross Nurseries, a garden centre based in Forest Row, East Sussex. [1][2]
