English: Routemaster bus RM1650 / SRM3 (reg. 650 DYE) was delivered to London Transport in July 1963, as an ordinary red Routemaster, RM1650. In 1977 it was one of a number of London buses painted in a special silver livery, to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II, with sponsorship from Air Jamaica. In this livery, it was renumbered SRM3. It was repaitned red and returned to its original number by the end of the year. It remained in London service until withdrawn in February 1985, after which it saw further public transport use outside London in the Blackpool Transport fleet (525) and then the Reading Mainline fleet (37), and private ownership with a Kent fruit farmer. In 2000 it was one of a batch of buses bought back by London Buses Services Ltd and refurbished at Marshall Bus in Cambridge, for further use in London, being allocated to First Centrewest for use on London Buses route 23 from December 2001, until it stopped using Routemasters in 14 November 2003. In 2002 it again changed colour to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II, with the application of a gold colour scheme, using vinyls, before being returned to red by the end of the year. In 2004, as part of the Routemaster 50th anniversary event 'Routemaster 50', it was repainted and renumbered back into the silver/SRM3 identity, this time sponsored by Heathrow Express. In addition, logos were applied behind the front wheel-arch - on the nearside a large red London Transport roundel, and on the offside a large red circular First logo. Since then, still based out of First's Westbourne Park garage, it has been used as a showbus, attending various events and rallies, including special runs on certain routes, as well as seeing regular use on London Buses heritage route 9 operated by First from Westbourne Park), and irregular use on London Buses heritage route 15, operated by East London. It later received an updated livery to commemorate Britain in 2012, a special year which featured the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II and the 2012 Summer Olympics. While retaining the base of the Jubilee silver livery, it's red First logo/LT roundel, 1977 Jubilee commemrative wording and Heathrow sponsorship were removed, being replaced by a white vertical stripe applied near the front behind the wheelarch. Super-imposed on this stripe above the front passenger window is a smaller blue 'First' fleetname with cyan f logo and Proud To Be Part Of It strapline, and below the window the Flag of the United Kingdom with United Kingdom written above it. For part of this period, prominent additional detail was also applied on the sides where the prior Jubilee wording was, comprising 5 London Transport roundels arranged and coloured to resemble the Olympic rings, with each featuring wording - "27 July 2012" (blue ring) "The Games" (black) "9 Sept 2012" (red) "Queen's Jubilee" (yellow) "2-5 June 2012" (green).
