Queen's Park Estate

The Queen's Park Estate at grid reference SD318370 off Laycock Gate, Blackpool. The first image is the view looking east from Coleridge Road. The waste ground in the foreground is the site of the former Devonshire Road Hospital. The five tower blocks, built between 1964 and 1972, are the tallest residential buildings in Blackpool. From left to right they are: Charles, Ashworth, Elizabeth and Churchill Courts - all 46 metres (151 ft) high and Walter Robinson Court - 64 metres (210 ft) high.
