Southern Finland[edit]

South-Western archipelago and Åland[edit]

The archipelago in the Southe Western Finland in the regions of Åland and Finland Proper includes 20 000 to 50 000 islands.

South-Western Finland[edit]

This area consists Finland Proper, Satakunta and South-Western part of Tavastia.

Lake Finland[edit]

Central to eastern Finland is known as Järvi-Suomi, Lake Finland. The area has more than 100 000 lakes and is more hilly than Western Finland at the same latitudes. Forests cover an even larger part of the land than on average in Finland.
