Latvia[edit]

Hey, from June 1st, 2010 all analogue signals in Latvia is terminated, so please correct this map. Please change to "Transition completed, all analog signals terminated".Info here and here. --Digital1 (talk) 21:46, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Germany[edit]

Germany should not be red. The reason: There are still some terrestrial analogue local stations broadcasting. Furthermore, many transponders on Astra 19.2°E are used for German analogue television. --84.61.131.41 09:20, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Serbia[edit]

Serbia curently uses both Analod and digital systems. Status: "Transition in progress, broadcasting both analog and digital signals" Analog TV will be turned off on 4 April 2012. More info here Can someone update the map, please? --WhiteWriter speaks 10:37, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Iceland[edit]

The process has begun and the aim is to finish in 2013, so currently both analog and digital are being used.

Source: Ending analog broadcasting. Digital TVs necessary in 2013.

Northern Ireland and Ireland have not yet switched.[edit]

The map is a little premature!

Ireland does not complete switchover until 24.10.2012. While most of the UK has now completed transition, Northern Ireland does not switch over until the same day as its southern neighbour.

Egypt[edit]

Egypt needs to be colored green. These are the only available sources (adopted but not used: dtvstatus.net; dvb.org), and since I live in Egypt, I know that we have no digital terrestrial services, not for TV or radio. In case anyone was wondering why I didn't make it myself: I don't know how to edit .svg files. --Mahmudmasri (talk) 12:40, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New Zealand[edit]

New Zealand has completed digital television transition and switched off all analogue signals, but I don't know how to edit .svg files so I can't change the map myself

Serbia[edit]

Serbia is marked as green, although it transmits bot digital and analog signal, which means that it should be marked yellow. 09:31, 17 November 2014 (UTC)

Suriname[edit]

Suriname is currently transitioning to ATSC, broadcasting both analogue NTSC and digital ATSC. Fentener van Vlissingen (talk) 14:16, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

South Africa[edit]

South Africa's transition still hasn't begun properly and yet it is red (completed) on the map. First digital transmissions only started on experimental basis Feb 2016. Finally, digital TV era arrives in SA — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andynct (talk • contribs) 11:37, 18 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

South Africa needs to changed to yellow. --Andynct (talk) 09:26, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As of the time of the above comment, the transition had begun (Finally, digital TV era arrives in SA). The colours have now been changed. Do not edit the main article to make a point. - Wiz9999 (talk) 18:37, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Data sources[edit]

Is there a creditable source of the primary data used to colour the map, or is it all created from personal knowledge? — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.213.3.4 (talk) 11:04, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
