Copyright status is confusing[edit]

Hi, User:Ekpene. I'm a little confused, because in three separate fields you claim that:

  • You took the picture
  • Jean-Michel Rousset took the picture
  • Guy Hersant, a photographer, "staged" the picture

Also, I found the picture at a photography site, attributed to Rousset, but uploaded after you uploaded it here. I'm not completely certain why that would happen, but it doesn't smell right to me.

Hi Mark

Your remark is welcome. Actually my name is Jean-Michel Rousset, and I took Ekpene as a Wiki name when I discovered Wikipedia a few years ago. So yes, Ekpene and JM R are the same person, and yes: I am the one who took the photo. I also used it for website, uploading it myself.

Guy Hersant is a friend, we were together when I took the picture after he had arranged the people for it.

Is it correct and respecting wiki rules?
