Serbia uses Cyrillic only (article 10 in Consititution of Serbia http://www.parliament.gov.rs/content/eng/akta/ustav/ustav_1.asp). Montenegro uses Cyrillic and Latin (article 9 in Consititution of Montenegro http://www.montenet.org/law/ustav.htm). Moldova is not biscriptal. (Transniestria is not officially recognized.) Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are still in a state of transition, and the opposition in Turkmenistan uses Cyrillic. It's quite misleading to have Uzbekistan the same color as Afghanistan, and Serbia the same color as Bulgaria. I didn't mess with central Asia, but I think we should show use, not just govt. proclamation. Kwamikagami (talk) 14:57, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Romania[edit]

Which language of Romania currently use Cyrillic script? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 20:11, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Azerbaijan[edit]

The map shows Azerbaijan using Cyrillic alphabet as one of the official. It is totally wrong information, in Azerbaijan Cyrillic is not used at all after 2001. It is prohibited to issue any newspaper, journal, book or something else in Cyrillic Azerbaijani alphabet since that time. Roman alphabet is the only alphabet being used in there. Thus, this map should be deleted or corrected. --Verman1 (talk) 15:13, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In Moldova and Azerbaijan Cyrillic is a legacy script. That's a third color which was not labeled. Kwamikagami (talk) 00:43, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Corrected several countries: Uzb. & Turk: no longer official. Geor. & Mol: coofficial in breakaway regions. Serbia: Kosovo. Est. & Lat: legacy usage. Kwamikagami (talk) 01:10, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
