Français : De gueules, a en chef un demi soleil mouvant, a 15 rayons d'or sur un fond d'azur ; soutenu d'une fasce en divise voûtée de sinople, fuselée d'or et d'argent ; le tout surchargé d'une étoile (pentalpha) de sinople. L'écu timbré de la Couronne Royale Marocaine d'or, ornée de perles de gueules et de sinople alternées ; il est bordé de lambrequins d'or soutenus de 2 cornes d'abondance et supporté par 2 lions au naturel : celui à dextre est de profil et celui à senestre léopardé. L'écu a un listel d'or avec le verset coranique : In Tansourou Allaha Yansouroukoum. Constant reverts[edit]

colors[edit]

@Flaspec: Changing the colors is not what I had approved per https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Overwriting_existing_files/requests/Archive_1#Allow_overwriting_of_File:Coat_of_arms_of_Morocco.svg Please explain why the colors were changed (which would be a controversial change). Correct Coat of Arms[edit]

Noticed on the Moroccan Government's website at https://www.maroc.ma/en#plus, they use the file last used on this site on 6 May 2023 prior to 18:29, in the website banner. Should, therefore, the Wikipedia file match that of an offical Moroccan government website? I would think that if the Moroccan Government is using that file then it should be reinstated on here as well, acknowledging a Wikipedia need for accuracy to blazon or the like, but more to the fact that the armiger of the arms, HM the King and his Government, are using that file over the current one. On the same page they use the more accurate version as well. Often case wikimedia files tend to overtake other depictions due to their accessability even if the files here contain errors. Since the correct version is based on depictions present in legislation it should take precedent over the previous versions even if those ones are still used on websites and such. --Fenn-O-maniC (talk) 10:32, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
