Sure a mallard, but a female one !

Beware the confusion from a possible misunderstanding due to a "faux ami" : in french "maillard" is specifically the name for the male « colvert » (“green neck”) aka Anas platyrhynchos aka the mallard species. What we hear here, is a female mallard. I prefer to explicit this because I read a confusion about this.
