Description

Woburn Second Parish Meeting House plaque, on the east lawn in front of United Church of Christ Congregational.

The plaque reads:

WOBURN SECOND PARISH MEETING HOUSE BUILT 1732 HERE THE MINUTEMEN OF THIS PARISH ASSEMBLED ON THE MORNING OF APRIL 19, 1775 TO MARCH TO LEXINGTON AND CONCORD UNDER THE COMMAND OF CAPTAIN JOSHUA WALKER.
