Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Wilson cloud chamber is a container in which supersaturated ethanol vapors are located near the cooled surface. In this case, I used an aquarium and a baking sheet, cooled from below with dry ice. When alpha radiation sources are placed in such a chamber, alpha tracks begin to form from condensed ethanol, from the passage of a charged alpha particle through it. Eesti: Wilsoni pilvekamber on anum, milles üleküllastunud etanooliaurud asuvad jahutatud pinna lähedal. Sel juhul kasutasin akvaariumi ja altpoolt kuiva jääga jahutatud ahjuplaati. Kui asetada alfa-kiirguse allikad sellisesse kambrisse, siis hakkavad moodustuma alfarajad kondenseerunud etanoolist.
Українська: Хмарна камера Вільсона являє собою ємність, в якій поблизу охолодженої поверхні знаходяться перенасичені пари етанолу. В даному випадку використано акваріум і деко, охолоджені знизу сухим льодом. Коли в таку камеру поміщають джерела альфа-випромінювання, від конденсованого етанолу, від проходження через нього зарядженої альфа-частинки, починають утворюватися альфа-треки.
