English: LIBI_00268_07948; A 6 5/8" X 4 1/2” image mounted on a 10" x 7 3/4" card. The image depicts White Swan, a former crow scout for the army. He is mounted in front of a tipi. He is wearing traditional clothing, including a feathered headdress. He holds a pole with feathers attached. His saddle is a western stock saddle. The image was taken on the Crow Reservation in Montana. A handwritten note in ink on the bottom margin reads: "White Swan". The image is in good condition. It was taken by Fred E. Miller, circa 1898.
