Nederlands: “Doen we zo nog één biertje op het terras?”. Je had je nog zo voorgenomen om een dagje geen alcohol te drinken, maar ach, het is wel zo gezellig. Daarbij, dat ene drankje kan vast niet zoveel kwaad. Toch hebben we in Nederland ruim een miljoen probleemdrinkers en is alcohol de grootste oorzaak van verslaving. Hersenwetenschapper Janna Cousijn van de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam doet al jaren onderzoek naar het verslaafde brein en vertelt dat het probleem van alcoholverslaving zich waarschijnlijk al ontpopt ver voordat jij je eerste biertje opentrekt.
