Description
English: Simultaneous visualization of surface and internal features of infected red blood cells. The 3D animation first shows deformations on the surface of the erythrocytes and then a number of structures inside the infected cell, such as the membranous structures and the projections of the PVM, parasite profiles, hemoglobin-containing tubules and multi-lobular nuclei.
