| Description |
English: View North from Orrest Head A. Wainright's first view of the Lake District was from Orrest Head. He fell in love with the place, leading him to the eventual production of his famous handwritten guidebooks. This view looks north over green pastures and meadows to the Fairfield Horseshoe and part of the Kentmere Round in the distance. |
