Notes
English: Minnehaha was the lover of Hiawatha in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s 1855 epic poem The Song of Hiawatha. The Death of Minnehaha is part of Longfellow’s poem, and was later arranged by Charles Crozat Converse into a popular song, as well as being made into a part of the English composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s 1900 cantata trilogy The Song of Hiawatha.
