Summary[edit]

Description
English: The first vandalism of Bedford's statue commemorating its Italian Immigrants. This was only unveiled just over a fortnight before. The sculpture seems to be made of cement or car body filler laid on a wire mesh frame and then painted to give a bronze-like appearance. Unfortunately, things in Bedford need to be strong enough to withstand the towns drunks. (The statue was later removed).
