Nederlands: BESCHRIJVING
Met respect voor het onderwerp laten de makers iedere aflevering opnieuw zien hoe sociaal zwakkeren trachten te overleven in een afbrokkelende welvaartsstaat. De (video)filmers reizen ervoor naar Eindhoven, Hoogvliet, Breda, Amersfoort, Delfzijl en Den Helder. Onder redactie van Frans Bromet en Peter van Ingen registreert het Veldpost-team onbarmhartig en direct, maar zonder kapsones en zonder morele (voor)oordelen. Dat levert fascinerende televisie op, waarin de mensen aan de onderkant, zelf gediscrimineerd maar zelf ook naar hartelust discriminerend, ongeremd klagen over hun rottig bestaan, hun benepen uitkering, hun buurtgenoten van "verkeerd ras en fout geloof", de overheid in het algemeen en de sociale dienst in het bijzonder. Waardering van de vakjury: Zilveren Nipkowschijf 1997. |
