| Technical details | Taken with a Canon 750D at 170mm; converted with ffmpeg 3.1.1-static (Lavc57.48.101 for libvpx-vp9 and libopus) with two passes: ffmpeg -i MVI_0695.MP4 -c:v libvpx-vp9 -pass 1 -b:v 29802k -crf 23 -threads 8 -speed 4 -tile-columns 6 -frame-parallel 1 -an -t 00:00:20 -f webm /dev/null, followed by ffmpeg -i MVI_0695.MP4 -c:v libvpx-vp9 -pass 2 -b:v 29803k -crf 23 -threads 8 -tile-columns 6 -frame-parallel 1 -an -auto-alt-ref 1 -lag-in-frames 25 -t 00:00:20 -f webm "Island fox and pups at Shoreline Park.webm" (everything after twenty seconds was corrupted by the autofocus going haywire) as described in the WebM Project's encoding guide under "constrained quality". |
