Description
English: Pilots assigned to USS Hornet study the target area prior to strikes on Hong Kong, in one of the carrier's ready rooms. USS HORNET's planes raided Hong Kong on 16 January 1945. Note Chinese-American insignia on flight suits, and bone-handled revolver carried by man in center. Also note identification sheets for Japanese shipping, at left.
