| Description |
English: Timber stack in the Hasley Inclosure, New Forest This stack of woodland product (cut pine) is just inside the eastern entrance of the Hasley Inclosure, awaiting removal. Oak and sweet chestnut were planted when the area was first enclosed in the 1860s and some of these can be seen growing in the background. The inclosure is now dominated by fast-growing conifers which provide a better yield. |
