Description Beham, (Hans) Sebald (1500-1550): Die Dame und der Narr/The Lady and the Fool. Eisenradierung/etching. 7,3 x 5,2 cm. 1540. B. 148, Pauli 149, Hollstein 149. Eine der seltenen Eisenradierungen aus dem druckgraphischen Oeuvre des Hans Sebald Beham in einem ganz ausgezeichneten, gleichmäßig klaren Druck mit winzigem Rändchen. Verso Restchen alter Montage, winzige Fehlecke unten rechts, sonst in sehr guter Erhaltung. See also 'The Lady and Death', 1541 (Bartsch 149), based on this etching.
