Monochrome print. Technique includes engraving.; Mounted with PAD6116, PAD6118. View of the three-masted HM Sloop Dorothea, closely reefed with only three sails set, being swept by high waves towards breakiing ice. In the far distance is HM Brig Trent in calmer water listing heavily.
