Description
Painting depicting a scene from 'A Sentimental Journey' where Parson Yorick believed to be Sterne is visiting Paris and goes into a glove shop to ask for directions but becomes distracted by the beauty of the shop assistant and ends up buying a pair of gloves. Painting is in a gold, gilt frame. There is very little written about the artist but it is believed he was friends with Frith. See object CCWSH 1167
