Description
English: Supplementary Movie 1 Example of the eye blink response in a wild-type mouse. Fura-2 responses of DRG neurons to a sequential challenge with a hyperosmotic solution followed by icilin and depolarization with a high KCl concentration (50mM). Note the selective activation by the hyperosmotic stimulus of an icilin-sensitive neuron. The reversible shrinkage of the neurons in response to the hyperosmotic stimulation can also be seen in both the responsive neuron and the adjacent non-responsive neurons.
