| Description |
English: Swimming Baths, Carr Croft, Armley Built in 1929-30 by the City Architect and now part of the Armley Leisure Centre. (This fine building has now been demolished and is the car park for the new rather bland leisure centre. It had a running balcony around the swimming bath from which spectators could observe the swimming. It's of Edwardian origin I believe, yet another fine example of civic vandalism from Leeds City Council. Mtaylor848 (talk) 01:21, 5 March 2013 (UTC) |
