Nederlands: Honderden studenten uit heel Nederland demonstreren in Den Haag tegen de verlaging van de studiebeurs die minister I.A. Diepenhorst van Onderwijs en Wetenschappen wil doorvoeren ihkv de algemene bezuinigingen van de regering. Met spandoeken en rookbommen betogen ze op het Binnenhof. De politie heeft een cordon rondom het Ministerie van Onderwijs en Wetenschappen gelegd. Na verloop van tijd vertrekken de studenten.
English: Hundreds of students from the Netherlands in The Hague to demonstrate reductions to the scholarship by Minister IA Diepenhorst of Education and Science; reductions that were made as part of a global reduction of spending made by the government. Protesters gathered in the courtyard of the Ministry of Education and Science building. With banners and smoke bombs the protest proceeds. Police set up barricades around the Ministry of Education and Science building. Eventually, the students leave. |
