Deutsch: Der Heilige Martin zelebriert, nachdem er den Mantel mit dem Bettler geteilt hat eine Messe. Über seinem Haupt erscheint eine feurige Kugel, die als göttliches Zeichen gedeutet wird. Vermutlich hat sich Bockhorst im Kleriker, rechts im Bild selbst porträtiert
