Summary[edit]

Description
English: The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida Dec. 15 to send the commercial Dragon cargo craft on its journey to deliver some three tons of experiments and supplies to the crew members aboard the International Space Station. Once it arrives at the complex, the Dragon will be captured by the station’s Canadian-built robotic arm operated by Expedition 53 Flight Engineers Mark Vande Hei and Joe Acaba of NASA. Ground controllers at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston will then take over, sending commands to maneuver Dragon to the Earth-facing side of the Harmony module where the spacecraft will be attached for a month-long stay.
