Summary[edit]

Description
English: Microtubule gliding can be observed at the surface of 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Adipocyte transfected with GFP-tubulin was starved prior to stimulation with 100 nM insulin. TIRF images were acquired ∼10 minutes following insulin stimulation at 1 frame per s. Elapsed time is indicated in min:sec. Background-subtraction and smoothing were performed. Scale bar is 5 µm.
