Description
English: Seven new aces in three weeks of flying over Okinawa is the proud boast of the "Death Rattlers." In the front row from left to right are: 2dLt Robert Wade and 1stLt Jeremiah O'Keefe. Standing in the back row from left to right are: 1stLt William L. Hood; 1stLt Joe V. Dillard; Maj George C. Axtell, Jr.; 2dLt John W. Rusham; and Maj Jefferson D. Dorroh. Each Japanese "meatball" on the mess hall represents, as of 7 May 1945, a kill.
