Notes
English: This sculpture, both the angel figure and the doorframe behind it, are virtually identical to the 1899 monument sculpted by Angiolo de Ranieri for the Famiglia Lombardi e Sbrana tomb in Lucca, Italy; also, elsewhere here in Araçá cemetery is a bronze sculpture for the Família Ribeiro dos Santos made in 2003 with an angel in a very similar pose and clothing; another similarly posed angel is found on the tomb of Antonio Piatti in the Cimitero delle Porte Sante in Florence, sculpted by Emanuel Caroni in 1866-1867.
