| Description |
Sociogram of all irl meetups among long-term participants belonging to a small-size 8 year old /vg/ general on 4chan specifically focused on a single videogame franchise, with data accurate as of March 28, 2024. Each node represents one person, while each link represents one or multiple irl meetups; nodes are colour-coded by geographic region, based on the person's country of origin. Identifiable data has been pseudonymised; the horizontal length of each box roughly corresponds to the in-game username length of each individual, and if an individual is known by more than one pseudonym (e.g. those with reroll accounts), the most commonly known alias is used. It is important to note that for any given /vg/ community on 4chan, it is highly likely that 85% or more of participants will never meet another participant irl.
