English: Salt Way at Roel Gate A minor rural road junction now but in medieval times an important landmark on the 'Salt Way' taking pilgrims to nearby Hailes Abbey. The stone seat on the right is dedicated to Arthur Boycott 1877-1938 (a pathologist).
