  • Significance: This small single-family dwelling was built c. 1888 for John Varley, a teamster. It is located in the "Marmalade" section of the proposed National Register Historic District known as Capital Hill. It is contributory to the District's architectural character because of its scale, massing, materials, and vernacular style.
