Svenska: Rund, gråanlöpt, räfflad pipa, under pipan en ledad laddstock med fjädrande spärr. På främre delen ovanför gångjärnet stämplat: "ADDRESS SAM.L COLT NEW YORK CITY". På vänster sida engelska kontrollstämplar: krönt V och GP. På ramens vänstra sida: "COLTS PATENT", på undersidan 2 ggr: 10988.Riktmedel: Stolpkorn av mässing.Cylindrisk trumma för sex skott, i bakänden urtag för tändhattsnipplar, inskruvade i pipans längslinje, mellan urtagen engelska kontrollstämplar, omväxlande krönt V och GP. På trumman graverad dekor i form av indianstrid efter förlaga av W. L. Ormsby, New York, otydlig signering: "W. Ormsby Sc. NY"(?), stämplat nr 10988.Hane med urspr. nätskuret tumgrepp, på slaghuvudets framände infilad siktskåra. Slagfjäder i form av bladfjäder.Kolvram-varbygel av urspr. förnicklad mässing, stämplad: 10988, bakom hanen: W. Oval varbygel. Kolv av trä med plan kolvände.
