Bhavai Dance

Bhavai dance performed in the Udaipur region of Rajasthan is very popular. This dance is performed by keeping the mats on the head. The number of these mats can be from eight to ten. The specialty of this dance is that while dancing, she dances by standing on the cutting of a glass or plate.

Terhtali Dance

This dance is performed by women and hymns. In this dance, women tie their bodies with 13 strings and play them with the rhythm of the song. This dance is specially performed by the women of Kamad caste along with the hymns of Baba Ramdev. It is one the amazing dance you will find in Rajasthan Tourism.

Ghoomar Dance

Ghoomar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan. It was developed by the Bhil clan and later adopted by the rest of the Rajasthani fraternity. This dance is performed by most of the women wearing a veil and a swirling dress called “Ghagra”. Ghoomar is usually performed on special occasions, such as weddings, Holi, festivals and religious functions. The songs of Ghoomar may focus on royal and royal legends or their traditions.

Chari Dance

Chari dance is a fascinating and very famous folk dance of Rajasthan in India. It is performed by women and this dance is popular in Ajmer and Kishangarh of Rajasthan. This dance is very beautiful which is mostly performed by women of Gujjar and Saini communities of Kishangarh and Ajmer in Rajasthan. During many big celebrations, festivals, on the birth of a boy, marriage occasions this dance is performed.

Puppet Dance

Puppet dance, Rajasthan Kathputli dance is one of the important and ancient folk art forms of the state of Rajasthan, India. Since ancient times, Rajasthan tribal people have performed this art. No village fair and any religious festival in Rajasthan is complete without a puppet dance. In this dance, the puppeteer uses ballads to tell stories. These tales or tales of romance and chivalry are told with the movements of string puppets.
