Summary[edit]

Description
English: W.A. Love with radio equipment set up at Ixlu to receive time signals. This set was designed as standard equipment for a U.S. Navy destroyer to receive time signals on wave lengths of 600 to 25000 meters. It weighed about 300 pounds. Signals were received from Nauen, Germany; Arlington, Virginia; Balboa, Canal Zone; and Pawtucket, Rhode Island. A concert in progress in Birmingham, Alabama was also received. Guatemala. 1923.
