Português: Os poemas de Bilac foram inicialmente compilados em um livro intitulado "Poesias" no ano de 1888, sendo divididos em três seções distintas, nomeadamente "Panóplias", "Via Láctea" e "Sarças de fogo". Somente em 1902, uma edição definitiva foi publicada, que incluía não apenas os três conjuntos originais, mas também três novos conjuntos intitulados "Alma inquieta", "As viagens" e o curto poema de caráter épico denominado "O caçador de esmeraldas". Nas seções chamadas "As viagens", o poeta também incorporou o poemeto "Sagres", que viu a luz do dia por ocasião do quarto centenário da descoberta da Índia, em 1898.
