The Destruction of Pharo's Host. Moses and a group of Israelites standing on a rock against a tempestuous sky, Moses holding a staff in the air to bring the sea back together so that the Egyptians cannot follow (Exodus 14:26-28). 1793. Inscriptions: Lettered below image with title, bible reference, production detail: "P. J. De Loutherbourg R.A. Pinxt.", "Fitler Sculpt." and publication line: "London Published Decr. 1793, by Thos.
