English: Summer Solstice Holiday ‘Pine Kupalo’ (Kupalo with pine), July 7 by Julian style, in Ukraine, Zhytomyr region, Osivka village
Українська: Святкування літнього сонцестояння - Купала в Україні на Середньому Поліссі в селі Осівка Житомирської області (відео Олега Коробова та Маргарити Скаженик). В Осівці на Купало прикрашають березу 6 липня, а 7 липня - сосну. Дерева прикрашають берестяними свічками, що дуже архаїчний атрибут, вінками з квітів і перевеслами з соломи. Навколо дерева увечері святкують, співають петрівські і купальські пісні. Наприкінці свята дерево спалюють, запалюючи спочатку берестяні свічки, від яких займається дерево. Верхівку ламають: хто злоить верхівку - дівчата чи хлопці - той буде головним в наступний період на вулиці. Також з дерева беруть гілки після спалення або ламають, коли догорає, і несуть їх на город в грядки до овочів.
