| Description |
English: Old North British Hotel from Waverley Bridge The hotel built above Waverley Station (now incongruously renamed the Balmoral, presumably to attract tourists) has direct lift access to the platforms below. Some scenes in the 2007 film 'Hallam Foe' were set inside the Clock Tower. Traditionally, the clock was set three minutes later than real time to encourage passengers in danger of arriving late to speed up to catch their trains on time. |
