| Description |
English: Occident vs. Orient! This picture was taken straddling the Greenwich Meridian near to Patrington, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. My left foot was in 'the West' and my right in 'the East'. Taken at MR: TA32082208... or alternatively 0 deg. west/0 deg. east and of course facing due north! Checked the position out with a GPS once and it was indeed 'spot on' - 50cm. to the west gave 1 second west and 50cm. to the east gave 1 second east! |
