A search of the govt. copyright site tells me "The North Adams (MA) Transcript" has registered copyrights only for the years 2003-11, which means all their pre-1964 publications are now public domain. I also searched for a few variants such as "The North Adams Transcript" and versions with and without commas and turned up nothing. A search on just "The North Adams" (name of the town) returned fifty-odd results. Went through all of them to ensure this is the only variant of the name.
