Summary[edit]
DescriptionNorwich (1836 steamboat) during Hudson-Fulton celebration 1909.jpg |
English: The towboat Norwich during the 1909 Hudson-Fulton celebrations. Originally built as a passenger steamer running between Norwich, Connecticut, and New York, Norwich was later converted into a Hudson River towboat and was reportedly the world's oldest active steamboat by 1909, powered by the only surviving example of an American crosshead engine. |
