English: Niveolanite, Franconite, Aegirine
Locality: Poudrette quarry (De-Mix quarry; Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Carrière Mont Saint-Hilaire; MSH), Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada
FOV ~ 1.2 x 1.7 cm. Ex Jean-Pierre Beckerich. (Confirmed find.) MOB coll. There isn't too much (fibrous) niveolanite in the photo but there are several patches (some larger) scattered about on the specimen (~ 5 x 4 x 3.5 cm). The niveolanite comes in both white (center) and less typical yellowish (rhs). The fuzzy franconite aggregate at the top is ~ 5-6 mm wide but is foreshortened due to angle of view. The black prisms are aegirine and the orange/brown grainy stuff is probably rhodochrosite. There is also some petersenite-(Ce) and sphalerite but they don't show up in the photo. Everything sits on microcline and sodalite/cancrinite (not tested via UV).

Das Foto enthält nicht zu viel (faseriges) Niveolanit, aber es befinden sich mehrere (einige größere) Flecken auf der Probe (~ 5 x 4 x 3,5 cm). Der Niveolanit ist sowohl weiß (Mitte) als auch weniger typisch gelblich (rhs). Das fusselige Franconit-Aggregat oben ist ca. 5-6 mm breit, wird aber aufgrund des Blickwinkels verkürzt. Die schwarzen Prismen sind Aegirin und das orange / braune körnige Zeug ist wahrscheinlich Rhodochrosit. Es gibt auch einige Petersenit-(Ce) und Sphalerit, aber diese sind auf dem Foto nicht zu sehen. Alles sitzt auf Mikroklin und Sodalith/Cancrinit (nicht über UV getestet).
